... Beddgelert's 'own' mountain!


Moel Hebog - 783 metres

Moel Hebog distinctive rocky summit towers above the pretty village of Beddgelert, which in turn is situated at the end of the Nantgwynant Valley (reach via a level walk from Nantgwynant). The translation to English from its Welsh name is "Bare Hill of the Hawk". It is next to the Nantlle Ridge and Mynydd Mawr. The most popular approach to the summit is from Beddgelert.
